Ingredients
1 pound salmon fillets
1/4 cup butter, melted
5 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon dried dill weed
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
sea salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a
medium baking dish.
Place salmon in the baking dish. Mix the butter and lemon juice
in a small bowl, and drizzle over the salmon. Season with dill, garlic powder,
sea salt, and pepper.
Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until salmon is easily
flaked with a fork.

Really Good Ground Elk Recipe
Bacon or proscuitto is elk's best friend. Gotta check it out...
Try baking the elk, taking the ground meat and mixing it with fresh chopped onions, garlic, some savory herb, montreal sesonings, thyme, then make a log out of it and wrap it with Mountain Shadow Peppered bacon.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon toasted pine nuts (optional)
Asparagus Recipe :.
Directions
- Melt the butter with the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; add the asparagus and red onion in the mixture, season with salt, and cook until the onion begins to soften, about 5 minutes. Stir the red bell pepper into the mixture and continue cooking until the onions begin to caramelize, another 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add the vinegar, Parmesan cheese, sesame seeds, and pine nuts; toss to combine.

Ingredients 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 (6 ounce) can lump crabmeat, drained
2 tablespoons dry sherry
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 1/2 cups white bread cubes
1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
6 boneless chicken thighs, with skin
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon onion
powder
Directions:
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the
celery and onion; cook and stir until soft, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat,
and season with poultry seasoning and pepper. Stir in the crabmeat, sherry, and
bread cubes until everything is well blended.
Preheat a grill for medium heat.
Lay the chicken thighs out skin side down on a clean surface.
Spread an even layer of the crab mixture onto each one. Roll up chicken and
secure with toothpicks.
Place the stuffed thighs seam side down onto the grill, and season
with garlic salt and onion powder. Cover, and cook for 20 to 30 minutes,
turning occasionally for even cooking. Chicken is done when juices run clear
when pierced with a fork.
